Australian Koala 2010 Gilded Silver 1oz Coin
General Coin Information
For the third year in a row, the Perth Mint of Australia is offering a gilded version of its beloved silver Koala series. This year's edition, the 2010 Australian Koala Silver Coin Series 1oz Gilded Coin, continues the tradition of an exquisitely crafted coin honoring one of Australia's famous marsupials.
The series itself started in 2007, but it was not until the next year when the Perth started offering a gilded option.
Each of these coins will ship in a black display case with a blue lid and be accompanied by an illustrated shipper box. Also included will be a numbered certificate of authenticity indicating the limited mintage of only 10,000.
The Perth takes great care in creating this timeless piece and utilizes state of the art technology to apply the 24-carat gilding.
