The US Mint has increased the order limits on its 2009 Ultra High Relief Gold Coin. Previously, a limit of one per household was in place for the coin, as of July 27th, the limit will be increased to 10 per household.
The UHR coin is based on the original Saint-Gaudens design created more than 100 years ago for the Double Eagle. That original design is considered by many to be the most beautiful coin ever produced by the United States.

Unknown to most, even in his own country of Austria, Theodor Billroth's contributions to the field of medicine has saved many lives, perhaps even your own. In celebration of his works the Austrian Mint has issued the Billroth Gold Coin as part of their "Celebrated Physicians of Austria" series.
Best remembered for his surgical knowledge, Billroth was also a fine musician and supporter of the Vienna musical society. His friendship with famed composer Johannes Brahms undoubtedly helped to foster some of Brahms' greatest works. Continue reading
