The Royal Canadian Mint has unveiled three new coins sure to delight both the coin enthusiast as well as those who love the great outdoors. Available now from the RCM are the Orca 1/10 oz Pure Gold Coin, the Orca 1 oz Fine Silver Coin and the Orca 1/2 oz Fine Silver Coin.
Each of these three strikes are available in limited quantities directly from the Royal Canadian Mint. They also mark additions to their respective "O Canada" coin series.

Orca 1/10 oz Pure Gold Coin
The new Orca 1/10 oz Pure Gold Coin marks the last release of the RCM's O Canada 1/10 oz. pure gold coin series. This coin is composed of 1/10 oz of 99.99% pure gold and features a proof quality finish.
Shown on the reverse of the coin is a design by Canadian artist Pierre Leduc. It shows a three-quarter profile view of an adult orca as it rises out of the water. In the distance, a dorsal fins of three more orcas can be seen.
This strike features a maximum mintage of just 4,000. They are available now for $279.95 CAD.
Orca 1 oz Fine Silver Coin
The design found on the reverse of the coin was also completed by Canadian artist Pierre Leduc. It offers an adult female orca swimming with her young calf .
Mintage of the one ounce release is capped at 8,500. Pricing of the coin is listed at $89.95 CAD.
Orca 1/2 oz Fine Silver Coin
The reverse design by Canadian artist Pierre Leduc shows a side view of a breaching orca. A Pacific Northwest coastline can be viewed in the distance.
Maximum mintage of this strike is 40,000. The price of each is $39.95 CAD.
