Today, May 23, 2013, the United States Mint released the 2013 American Buffalo Gold Proof Coin for sale to the public. The 2013 Proof Gold Buffalo went on sale beginning at Noon (Eastern) for $1,790.00, plus the US Mint's standard shipping and handling of $4.95 per order.
Each is struck from one ounce of .9999 fine, 24-karat gold. No household order limits or mintage limits are in place on the release. Continue reading
Available now from the Perth Mint of Australia is the 2013 Mini Roo 0.5g Gold Coin. This coin is struck from half a gram of 99.99% pure gold and features the likeness of a kangaroo on its reverse.

The United States Mint will release the 2013 American Eagle Gold Proof Coins today, April 18, 2013. The Proof Gold Eagles will be available in four different sizes including one ounce, 1/2 ounce, 1/4 ounce and 1/10 ounce.
In addition, a four-coin set will also be released. This set contains one of each of the four different sized 2013 American Eagle Gold Proof Coins. Each is struck from 22-karat gold. Continue reading
The Royal Canadian Mint indicates that two of its recently released numismatic products are fast approaching a sell-out. It is likely that both the 2013 Beaver 1/10 oz Fine Gold Coin and the 2013 Beaver 1/2 oz Fine Silver Coin will be sold out in short order.
Both strikes contain reverse designs emblematic of one of Canada's natural creatures, the beaver. Both are also offered as part of their respective O Canada gold and silver coin series.
The O Canada Gold Coin series actually made its debut with the release of the Beaver Coin. Future strikes of the program will focus on iconic Canadian animals. The related O Canada Silver Coin series is in its second release with the Silver Beaver Coin. Subsequent products of the program will celebrate the people, wildlife and scenery which makes Canada so unique.
Available starting today, March 21, 2013, from the United States Mint are releases of the 2013 5-Star Generals Commemorative Coin Program. Strikes of the commemorative program go on sale from the US Mint beginning at Noon (Eastern).
Releases of the program include the 2013 5-Star Generals Commemorative $5 Gold Coin, the 2013 5-Star Generals Commemorative Silver Dollar Coin and the 2013 5-Star Generals Commemorative Half Dollar Coin. All three strikes are issued in both proof and uncirculated conditions
While inventories last, the Royal Canadian Mint is currently offering the 2013 Bald Eagle 1/25 oz Gold Coin. The coin is struck from 1/25 ounce of 99.99% pure gold and features a reverse design depicting a bald eagle.
The coin is offered by the Royal Canadian Mint as the 12th issue in a series of 1/25 oz pure gold coins. Maximum mintage of the release is limited to just 10,000.

Today, December 17, 2012, the United States Mint will halt sales of the 2012 Commemorative Coins and the September 11 National Medal. Those wishing to purchase the products directly from the US Mint will have until 5 PM (Eastern Time) to complete their transactions or be forced to look to the secondary market to procure the items.
It is typical for the US Mint to end sales for commemorative products such as this before the end of the year. This allows the Mint time to fulfill all orders before the start of the new year. Continue reading
The United States Mint has unveiled a 2013 Product Schedule that already encompasses a total of forty-seven different products. This new schedule includes release dates ranging throughout the year from January 8, 2013 through December of 2013.
Products covered in the new schedule include releases such as annual sets, American Eagle coins, America the Beautiful Quarters®, America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins™ and the 2013 Commemorative Coin programs including the 2013 Girl Scouts of the USA Centennial Silver Dollar and the 2013 5-Star Generals Commemorative $5 Gold Coin.
