US Mint Releases 2010 Coin Product Schedule

by World Mint Coins Staff on December 27, 2009

US Mint 2010 Coin Product ScheduleThe US Mint has released its preliminary schedule for 2010 coins and sets. Unlike the 2009 schedule where times were posted in piecemeal fashion generally a month prior to launch, the latest list offers collectors a glimpse into the entire year.

The vast majority of dates are non specific, and not every product is listed -- like collector proof and uncirculated American Eagle Gold and Silver Coins. However, at least issue months are provided for 39 new products, including the first five America the Beautiful Quarters, the new 2010 Lincoln Cent, Commemorative 2010 Silver Coins, 2010 First Spouse Coins, annual mint and proof sets, and many more.

For the collector American Eagles, the Mint's link to the information pages still provide the same message as in 2009:

The United States Mint will resume the American Eagle [replace with "Silver" or Gold"] Proof and Uncirculated Coin Programs once sufficient inventories of silver bullion blanks can be acquired to meet market demand for all three American Eagle Silver Coin products.
